Each work is accompanied by a reflective essay explaining the purpose of the assignment, my reason for selecting it, and my insight into how the work has contributed to my knowledge of the library and information science fields.
Completed Fall 2020 as a requirement for MLIS 7360 (Indexing, Abstracting, and Thesaurus Construction). This project involved the creation of a controlled vocabulary and thesaurus.
Completed Summer 2020 as a requirement for MLIS 7200 (Management of Libraries & Information Centers). As a collaborative project myself and 3 other students were tasked with creating a strategic plan for the Crestwood Public Library.
Completed Spring 2022 as a requirement for MLIS 7700 (Research Methods). This project was a research study assessing the accessibility technology of a nearby library.
Completed Spring 2020 as a requirement for MLIS 7510 (Essential Technologies in Libraries). This project involved researching developing technologies in a library and information science context. This research was used to create a proposal to adopt this technology at a nearby library.
